Easy Clean-Up After Cake Decorating

For those of you who have decorated a few cakes in your day, you might be very familiar with how big of a mess it can be. This is seriously one of those tricks that I wish I would have learned about years ago. It truly saves you so much time cleaning up once you’re done frosting and decorating your cake. Simply line your cake turntable or serving platter with thin sheets of parchment or wax paper, or even tinfoil before placing your cake down. The sheets only need to go around the edges, not directly underneath the center of the cake. The paper will catch all the excess frosting and toppings then you easily pull it away. It is that easy. Watch my quick video to see how it’s done.
