Bacon Brussel Sprouts
Brussel sprouts are another veggie I despised as a child but learned to love as an adult. This recipe is simple and utterly delicious.
Serves Two
4 cups fresh Brussel sprouts
2 slices bacon
3 TBsp Oil (avocado, canola or olive)
Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Trim stems from Brussel sprouts and remove any outer, damaged leaves. Slice in half through the stem end. Slice bacon into 1/4 inch slices and satutee until crisp. Toss Brussel sprouts with bacon and oil. Spread out on a baking sheet. Roast for 20 minutes and check tenderness. Roasting time will vary based on the size of the sprouts. Roast until tender. Salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy.
