Sandals Resorts
If you’re looking for a relaxing, luxurious and romantic getaway, look no further. My husband and I discovered Sandals Resorts back in 2010 and we’ve been going there ever since. What initially drew us in was the all-inclusive perks and the fact that they’re couples only resorts. It’s great to go on vacation and not be surrounded by singles looking for a vacation hook-up.
We were looking for somewhere to get away from the chilly December weather in Colorado and our first trip to Great Exuma, Bahamas was amazing, and we were hooked. Since that very first trip we’ve returned to Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua and Grenada. Besides being absolutely beautiful, relaxing and ultra pampering, they’re surprisingly quite affordable. We’ve stayed in all levels of rooms (from the lowest to the highest) and they’ve all been great.
The fact that they’re all-inclusive really removes the stress and worry you might face when figuring out meals and activities when visiting a foreign country. Each resort features at least seven different restaurant choices, multiple bars and tons of activities to fill your days with. You can also opt for a very chill vacation and spend your time lounging on the beach, at one of the many stunning pools or even in your own room. There are also tons of options when it comes to excursions outside of the resort.
Getting to the Caribbean is a lot easier than you might think and it sure beats traveling across the Pacific Ocean to get to a beautiful island. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a tropical vacation, I would 100% recommend Sandals. The staff, location, price and beautiful accommodations are truly memorable.
So far, our favorite location has been Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia. We stayed in one of the Sunset Bluff Villas that sat perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It was amazing. We hope to go back there one of these days and stay in the Millionaire Villa, maybe we’ll make it there for our 10th Anniversary. I’d love to answer any questions you might have about theses incredible resorts. All the pictures featured on this page were ones that I took on my phone and not by a professional. Enjoy!
